2699. A Cleaning Blog

One f the more difficult parts of being a single dad is being responsible for all of the cleaning. It isn’t just the work. Often I run into situations that I simply have no answer for. In such cases I raid the internet with a slew of search parameters, retrieving what information I can. Lately, I cannot find a single source to solve my problems. There are two, actually. How do you remove marker stains from an under armor hoodie, and how do you get what appears to be sweat or hard water stains off a football visor?

As I write there is a video running, offering suggestions about the hard water problem. The dude just suggested rubbing the surface with the meat of an orange. It ought to work better than my thus far useless windex solution. I can always spend $35 on a new visor, but that seems very wasteful. Another part of being a single dad is understanding that there is no financial help, especially when it comes to sports–where there should be help.

The orange trick worked for this guy, but I have a game tomorrow and no oranges. No Lemon’s either as it is likely the same principle. I’ll figure this thing out.

Or I won’t.
